Stephanie Crumley (She/Her)
Stephanie Crumley is excited to be teaching at Columbus Ashtanga Yoga Club. After many years of competitive sports including horseback riding, dancing, running and cycling, she ended up getting injured and found her way onto the yoga mat to heal her body. She took her first Ashtanga class in January of 2019 and became a consistent Ashtanga practitioner later that year.
This practice has held Stephanie in many different seasons of her life - and she loves showing students how this practice can be a supportive, lifelong practice during seasons of change, injury and growth.
When she’s not teaching or practicing yoga, Stephanie runs social media for dozens of local businesses, has her nose in a book or is off on an adventure with her dog and husband.

Matthew Ellis (He/Him)
Matthew came to yoga for the first time in 2015 to improve flexibility, balance, and as a supplement to lifting weights and other forms of fitness; however, yoga offered so much more than a physical practice. It did improve flexibility and balance, but it also offered relief from back pain and started a journey towards mindfulness. Yoga had become a remarkably effective form of personal care and growth. Wanting to deepen his own practice and gain the tools to share yoga with others, Matthew completed his 200-hour yoga teacher training at Flex Yoga in Wooster, OH in 2021. Matthew went on to complete trainings in both breathwork and meditation in 2022 and an Ashtanga yoga mentorship program with Ashtanga Yoga Columbus in 2023. He is currently living and teaching in Columbus, OH
